Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on 28 October 1967 in Atlanta. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was the first Roberts to move to Atlanta. At an early age, her father began to take an interest in theater. As a student in Emory University he appeared in numerous productions in and outside of campus. In 1953, when he joined the Air force in Biloxi, he was seen alongside Betty Lou Bredemus in Biloxi. The two married in 1955 and their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter attended Tulane University at New Orleans In 1957, the city of Louisiana where the couple had left the US Air Force. The family relocated in 1960 from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of the local Sunday morning children's show, Bum Bum and His Buddies. They also founded an organization that lasted for six years called the Actors and Writers Workshop later in the year. They had two more children. Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also named Lisa) as well as Julia Billingsley (1967) (also know as Julie).
