Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci (Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej Now Onesti) Romanian Gymnast born 12 November 1961. She was the first Romanian to score a of 10 at an Olympic event. Bela Karrolyi is a Romanian gymnastics instructor, who was later Comaneci's coach who first came across Comaneci aged six. The year 1969 was the first time she participated in the Romanian Junior Games and finished 13th. In 1970, she won the title. The first time she competed in an international meet in a preolympics junior competition that was open to countries of the communist bloc, she won 3 gold medals. Then in 1973 and 1975, she won awarded the All-around Junior Champion. She took home four gold medals and one silver in her debut competition as a senior which took place in the year 1975. This was the first time she competed as an adult. She won the American Cup in New York City in 1976 becoming the first female to do a reverse double salto, which is an unmounting from uneven bars parallel to each other. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. As a teenager, Carol Wayne began working in the entertainment industry performing as figure skater. Together with her sister Nina Wayne she was part of a traveling show called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol started her career as an entertainer as a teen. She began her career as model skater with her younger sibling Nina Wayne as part of the traveling entertainment shows named Ice Capades. The shows were the ice skating of which was performed to music from the stage.
