Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born on August 9th, 1976 at Beaumont Puy in Domme. Audrey Tautou's parents who have a doctor for teeth and a school teacher, supported and encouraged her initial passion for drama as well as theatre. She initially hoped of becoming a specialist in monkeys was eclipsed by her wish to pursue a degree in theater and drama. It was a quick rise for her to become an internationally renowned young actress. When she finished her education She was a part of the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+. She won the Best Young Actress award at Beziers Festival of Young Actors and started her career as an actress. Tautou, who attended in the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris in her youth and enrolled in the school at an early age she has since renounced her Catholic childhood. The actress declares herself to be non-Catholic. She pursued a career in modeling alongside her acting career and is the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel often referred to as The Chanel Muse. Her photography is also a passion and she recently exhibited her work at the Arles festival with the name Superficial. The focus of her photography is celebrity, fame and the press that scrutinised her following her fame-making debut in the film Amelie. Additionally, there are numerous photographs of herself. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom and global fame after her first big role, starring as the lead in the film Le Fabuleux Destin de l'Amelie Poulain. Amelie achieved international success on the screen and won awards around all over the world. The film is still the most successful French film across the US. The success of this movie led Tautou to a variety of roles, including British dramas as Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
